Making the Most With Mobile – Join Us in Cambridge on November 3rd

How to enhance your business using mobile thoughtfully

Each year, we host an event for our clients to meet each other and exchange their point of view on a relevant and sizzling business topic. I really like this event – there are no canned speeches, no requisite slide decks but rather an engaged, active, provocative and spirited dialogue shared between energetic minds. Our only real criteria for this gathering, besides offering a peer networking venue for our clients, is that the topic and the venue must relate, in some way, to what we do at Corey.

We’ve held events in the past at the Museum of Science covering The Boston Brand, Social Media and Business at the Commander’s Mansion, and one, post dot-com bubble burst, on Back to Business Basics at the MIT Hotel. Our panelists have been equally impressive – George Colony of Forrester Research, Alan Webber of Fast Company, George Bell of General Catalyst Partners, Kathy Sherbrooke of Circles and many other Boston business leaders.

In planning this year’s event, we looked at what the oxygen is – that which enables ubiquity, connectivity and ease intersecting at all touch points of life. We believe it’s mobile and its role in helping to create new frameworks for how we interact. “Making the Most With Mobile” was thus a natural topic and it was easy to identify our panelists–early VOIP entrepreneur Alex Laats, Cushing Academy headmaster, Dr. Jim Tracy, who is pushing forward reinventing education through technology, HBR group publisher, Josh Macht and moderator, Matt Cutler, CMO of internet video tracking start-up, Visible Measures. We juxtaposed this very 21st century topic with the very 18th century American Academy of Arts and Sciences building where the greatest and most original “scholar-patriots” are celebrated and acknowledged.

This promises to be heady event and we look forward to a very thoughtful discussion on November 3 at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in Cambridge, MA. If you are interested in requesting an invitation, please email coreymobile@corey.com. And follow us the day of the event via our hashtag #coreymobile.
