CMN and Museum of Science Boston Co-Present at Museums and the Web 2007 Conference

WATERTOWN, MA - May 15, 2007 - Corey McPherson Nash (CMN), the branding and design studio, today announced that Christine Klaehn, Partner and Director of Account Strategy, has addressed museum and Web professionals at Museums and the Web 2007, the only annual event dedicated to exploring the online presentation of cultural, scientific and heritage content across institutions and throughout the world. With Emily Bottis, Director, Interactive Media for the Museum of Science Boston, Klaehn co-presented a paper that outlined how CMN worked with the Museum to create an online presence that caused organizational change within the museum. Museums and the Web 2007 took place April 11-14 in San Francisco.

"The new Web site for the Museum of Science has been extremely well received, both by the Museum's target audiences and by Museum officials," said Christine Klaehn. “After working closely with the Museum of Science to successfully develop a site that reflects the real-world visitor experience, it was exciting to share our experience with other museum and Web professionals."

Museums and the Web conference addresses the social, cultural, design, technological, and organizational issues of presenting culture, heritage and science online. The conference takes an international perspective with senior speakers in Web development reviewing and analyzing the issues and impacts of networked cultural and natural heritage.

The Museum of Science Boston's new Web site is part of a plan to broaden its reach and expand its curriculum. The new Web site focuses on enhancing the user experience and capturing the Museum's ability to entertain, engage and enlighten visitors.
