CMN Partner Addresses Symposium for Media and Print Specifiers
WATERTOWN, MA - March 27, 2007 - Michael McPherson, partner and creative director at Corey McPherson Nash (CMN), the branding and design studio, will present the keynote address at Graph_Comm 07, a symposium for media and print specifiers. Michael will address attendees on "Delivering the Message: How the Pros Are Adapting," during the keynote luncheon, March 29 at Noon at the Boston Marriott Copley Place.
"Communications professionals have seen major shifts in the role of print over the past few years, and we have needed to adapt our skills and processes accordingly," said McPherson. "CMN believes that print still plays a vital role in communicating our clients' value, but we need to be more strategic about how we think about it. I am excited to share my insights and experience with Graph_Comm 07 attendees."
Michael also recently served as a guest critic for a meeting of the Typeface Review Board of the International Typeface Corporation (ITC). ITC Typeface Review Board meetings review design submissions to the company's typeface libraries, review progress against their strategic plan for typeface development, and address matters regarding the company's typeface intellectual property.
Michael McPherson's work has garnered numerous national and international design awards from periodicals and professional organizations including Communication Arts' Design Annual, American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA) Book Show, Print Magazine's Regional Design Annual, How Magazine's International Design Annual (Best of Show, 1998), ID Magazine's Annual Design Awards, the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), the University and College Designers Association (UCDA) and the American Association of University Presses Book Show.
