WATERTOWN, MA (March 10, 2015)
- Corey McPherson Nash
(www.corey.com) the nationally prominent branding and design firm, today announced it has been engaged by the venerable Mount Holyoke College Art Museum
. Corey will be working with the museum to help refresh and enhance its branding, institutional identity and web presence. "As stewards of visual culture, art museums are by definition all about images. The process of redefining our Museum's unique visual identity and online presence is therefore a major undertaking, but it's one that we look forward to exploring under the creative leadership of the Corey team," remarks Florence Finch Abbott Director John Stomberg.
One of the first collegiate museums to be founded in the U.S., Mount Holyoke College Art Museum joins Corey's growing roster of museum clientele. Many of New England's most prestigious museums have turned to Corey's branding expertise over the years, including Boston's iconic Museum of Science, the internationally renowned deCordova Museum and Sculpture Park, the Concord Museum (home of Paul Revere's legendary lantern), and the Harvard Art Museums; as well as the Boston Museum, a major project once planned for the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway.
"This engagement is a great honor and a pleasure for us," said Andrea Naddaff
, Corey partner. "Mount Holyoke College is recognized worldwide for the exceptional education it provides, and the Art Museum is an important part of that distinction. It is a genuine treasure, for both the quality of its collection and the extraordinary degree to which it is incorporated into the teaching of a broad range of Mount Holyoke courses."
